The way it is SUPPOSED to work is to provide a Ground Signal to Pin #54 of Connector X14271 at the JBE (Junction Box Electronics) Module IF the coolant level is low, and THAT ground signal causes the Warning Light on the Instrument Cluster to come on. You have a Coolant Level SWITCH (NOT Sensor -) in the Coolant Reservoir. It stays on and within 4-6 seconds, it disappears. For the last 2-3 months, the coolant light on the dashboard has surfaced intermittently.
